Independent summary, not affiliated with the City of New Westminster. Every recorded Council vote from November 2022 to September 2026, read from the City of New Westminster's official meeting minutes (112 meetings), with the motion text, the result and each member's vote. New Westminster's minutes record motions as “MOVED and SECONDED” without naming the mover, so movers are not shown here. Routine motions such as adopting the agenda, extending the meeting or approving the consent agenda as a bundle are left out.

A NO vote applies to the specific motion shown. It does not necessarily mean the councillor opposed the underlying project or issue. Council frequently votes on amendments, referrals, timing changes and procedural motions before voting on the final proposal. Read the motion text before interpreting a NO vote.
How each member voted on recorded motions. Select a name for that member’s record.
Counts are factual tallies of recorded actions. They are not scores, and a count of votes opposed does not show a position on any issue.
Choose a topic to see its votes in date order. A vote can carry more than one tag. Tags are assigned by this site from keywords in each motion’s title and text, and some placements are judgment calls.
Voting records show how members voted on individual motions, but they do not by themselves show who developed or introduced an initiative. This source does not name who moved or seconded each motion, so that part of each member’s record is not shown here.
A vote against an amendment, referral or procedural motion should also not automatically be interpreted as opposition to the underlying issue.
The site presents the motion text and official minutes so users can review the context themselves. It does not rate members or describe them as supporters or opponents of an issue.
The City of New Westminster's Council meeting minutes: 112 sets of Council, Special Council, Council-following-public-hearing and Inaugural minutes from 7 November 2022 to 21 September 2026. Three meetings have no minutes posted. Each vote links to its minutes and, where available, the meeting video.
The official record is authoritative. Where this page and the official record differ, the official record is correct.
New Westminster records results as “CARRIED” or “DEFEATED” with the names of anyone opposed, either on the next line or in a sentence such as “it was CARRIED with Cllrs. … opposed.” Members named as opposed are counted against; everyone else present is counted in favour. Attendance comes from each meeting's present list, adjusted when a member declared a conflict and left, or returned.
New Westminster's minutes say “MOVED and SECONDED” without names, so every vote on this page says “Mover not available from source”. The mover is never inferred.
Each vote is labelled Main motion, Amendment, Referral, Postponement, Reconsideration, Procedural or Other, based on how the minutes describe it and on the wording of the motion. “Procedural” here mostly means receiving a report for information. The labels are assigned by this site and are a guide; the motion text is shown in full.
The data was compiled with AI assistance. Software read each set of minutes and extracted the votes, motion text, movers and seconders; the results were checked against samples of the originals, not vote by vote. This page may therefore contain transcription or processing errors.
