Independent summary, not affiliated with the District of North Vancouver. Every recorded Council vote from November 2022 to July 2026, with the motion text, who moved and seconded it, the result and each member's vote. Votes come from the District's voting register and are checked against the official minutes, which also supply the mover and seconder.

A NO vote applies to the specific motion shown. It does not necessarily mean the councillor opposed the underlying project or issue. Council frequently votes on amendments, referrals, timing changes and procedural motions before voting on the final proposal. Read the motion text before interpreting a NO vote.
Voting is one part of a councillor's record. This table starts with the motions each member moved and seconded, as recorded in the official minutes, followed by how they voted. Select a name for the full list of motions that member moved.
Counts are factual tallies of recorded actions. They are not scores, and a count of votes opposed does not show a position on any issue.
Choose an issue to see its motions in date order. A motion can carry more than one tag. Tags are assigned by this site from the District's own categories, keywords and, for the wastewater treatment plant, a manual review of each motion.
Voting records show how members voted on individual motions, but they do not by themselves show who developed or introduced an initiative. Where available, this site therefore also identifies the councillor who moved and seconded each motion.
A vote against an amendment, referral or procedural motion should also not automatically be interpreted as opposition to the underlying issue.
The site presents the motion text and official minutes so users can review the context themselves. It does not rate members or describe them as supporters or opponents of an issue.
Where the minutes and the register disagree, this site follows the minutes and shows a “Source discrepancy” note on that vote, with links to both.
The register does not record who moved or seconded a motion. Those come only from the minutes, and are shown only where the motion could be matched reliably. Otherwise the vote says “Mover not available from source”.
When Council voted more than once on an agenda item at a meeting (for example an amendment, then the main motion), each vote is labelled “Vote 2 of 4 on this item” in the order recorded in the official minutes. Where the order could not be confirmed, mostly for 2026 meetings whose minutes are not yet posted, the label says “One of 3 votes on this item” instead.
Each vote is labelled Main motion, Amendment, Referral, Postponement, Reconsideration or Procedural, based on the wording of the motion. “Procedural” here mostly means receiving a report for information. The labels are assigned by this site and are a guide; the motion text is shown in full.
Tags come from the District's own categories plus keywords in the title and motion text. Votes tagged “North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant (NSWWTP)” were chosen by reading every motion in the register and minutes that mentions the plant, Metro Vancouver, a public inquiry, an Auditor General, utility charges or cost overruns. A motion is tagged when its text names the plant; one related motion is included and marked as related.
The data was compiled and checked with AI assistance: software read the register and the minutes, and every source discrepancy and every wastewater treatment plant entry was then read against the minutes individually. Mistakes are still possible. Where this page and the official minutes differ, the minutes are correct.
Corrections. If something here looks wrong, please email georgesteinberg15@gmail.com with the date and item. Corrections from council members, staff and residents are all welcome and will be checked against the official record.
Privacy. Names of private residents (property owners and business-licence applicants) are removed from motion text. The linked minutes are the full record.
